Andrew Yaspan began his professional career in New Orleans after graduating from Bucknell University in 2011. While in New Orleans, Andrew has worked in education, web development, the service industry and spent over two-and-a-half years as a Health Project and Planning Analyst at the City of New Orleans Health Department. Andrew also contributes to and engages the local organizing, tech, political, and youth communities in various capacities.
Over the summer, Andrew is working with the Invisible Institute on improving the New Orleans Independent Police Monitor’s intake process and tech strategy, as well as developing a “proof-of-concept” or how the agency can most effectively share its data and analysis. Afterwards, he will be attending the Harris School of Public Policy where he will pursue a graduate degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy.
