Join Critical Conversations
Our Critical Conversations Series is a chance for us to collectively engage in a year-long exploration of urgent themes and ideas. In 2025, our inaugural year, we will collectively read Living in Data: A Citizen’s Guide to a Better Information Future by Jer Thorp and host three events exploring different aspects of the book. We will host two additional events exploring censorship and the First Amendment with Jamie Kalven. The series will include both online and in-person events.
It is becoming more and more urgent that we take our role as audience members seriously. The ideas we give our attention quickly begin to reshape our world. Critical Conversations participants will have the opportunity to engage with each other about the fundamental questions and principles that guide our work as they relate to broader topics and individual lived experiences.
All events will be free and open to the public. Consider supporting our Critical Conversations Series by becoming a member. Members receive Conversations, each issue provides additional insight into Critical Conversation topics and supports the processing and discussing substantive parts of the broader topic. Members also receive a 10% discount on merchandise, advance notice of upcoming programs, and acknowledgement of your support on Critical Conversations webpage.
