Join us on Wednesday, February 1st at 7pm at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center for the launch of a community data tool that makes police data from Champaign County accessible to the public. We’ll have light refreshments and an opportunity for attendees to use the new tool and ask questions about the data and our ongoing journalism efforts in Champaign.

The Invisible Institute is a journalism non-profit based in the South Side of Chicago, and the home of CPDP.co — a website that makes Chicago Police disciplinary data accessible to the public. Over the past year, the Invisible Institute has worked to create the first non-Chicago based CPDP data tool, Champaign-Urbana Police Data Project.
