Investigation reveals flaws in how CPD handles cases of missing Black girls and women /November 29, 2023 by kaitlynn cassady

The reporters on the seven-part series found that Chicago detectives repeatedly brushed off family members’ concerns, mishandled evidence and recorded inaccurate data that made finding missing people harder.
