Join the Invisible Institute for Freudenfreude!, our Spring Opening celebration at Experimental Station on Thursday, May 14 from 5:30–8:00 PM.
Freudenfreude is a German word for the joy you feel when others are happy, and that spirit is at the center of this gathering. We’ll be activating indoor and outdoor spaces throughout Experimental Station for an evening of games, food, music, and community.
The event is free and open to all ages and abilities. Guests can expect board games, puzzles, and outdoor activities including double dutch, cornhole, and hula hoops, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Food will include pizza, empanadas, salad, vegetables and hummus, and fruit.
Copies of the Chicago Reader and South Side Weekly will also be available at the event.
Experimental Station is located at 6100 S Blackstone Ave, Chicago, IL 60637.
Kindly RSVP by May 12.
