When a Black child is beaten into a coma by a group of white teens, newspaper headlines quickly focus on reconciliation and forgiveness. You Didn’t See Nothin is a limited-series podcast following host Yohance Lacour as he revisits the 1997 hate crime in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood and examines how its ripple effects have shaped Lacour’s own life over the past quarter-century. The series won a Pulitzer Prize and a Peabody Award.
Yohance Lacour, along with Invisible Institute producers Bill Healy, Sarah Geis, and Erisa Apantaku, will present stories from behind the scenes of the investigative podcast and take questions from the audience.
