Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd from 2:00 - 3:30pm CST for a virtual supporters convening. This gathering will be a chance to celebrate and reflect on our work over the past year and share a glimpse of what is to come.
This year has been a time of critical new investigations and data work. From the release of a major update to our Civic Police Data Project, to celebrating our two Pulitzer Prize winning investigations, Missing in Chicago and You Didn't See Nothin, and launching the National Police Index: a new national data tool showing police employment history data obtained from state police training and certification boards across the U.S. We are eager to share updates with you.
This is your chance to ask our team your questions about our work - we’ll have a short afternoon panel about our recent updates to CPDP.co, the release of the National Police Index, and our data journalism practice. Then, we will have breakout rooms for more in-depth conversation with members of our team about their work, from audio journalism to youth engagement, and more.
Please give us your breakout room preferences when registering:
Room #1: Release the Records with trina and Maira
Room #2: Storytelling through Audio with Yohance and Erisa
Room #3: Youth and history making with Anwulika and Audrey
Room #4: Our Investigative Journalism Practice with Sam, Dana, and Andrew
Room #5: Ways of Working with Jamie and Stu
Room #6: Public Records and Data with Chaclyn and Maheen
Room #7: How to Make a Podcast with Bill and Sarah
Thank you for your continued support of our work, we look forward to seeing you soon.
